The women's group, as the name suggests, is for women and girls only. The group have regular rides on a wednesday evening, sometimes breaking into different groups to do a range of routes to suit- some leisurely, some more strenous, some on forestry track and some on single track. Sometimes a few join the mixed group for a change.

You don't have to be fit or fast: just willing to have a go, get stuck in & have some fun!                                                

Plenty of the women ride competitively on the Tuesday evening roadie time-trials in the summer and the winter league mountain bike races in the winter so the women's group isn't a separate branch of the club or a clique - it just lets us have some girls-only quality time!

The women's group also organise social events and the occasional weekend trip away biking in various parts of the country.

Women's Group Summer Riding Schedule
1st Wednesday of the month -meet at Nevis Range outside ticket office
2nd Wednesday -meet at Lochaber Leisure Centre for shorter ride and meal afterwards
3rd Wednesday -meet at Leisure Centre for away ride, we share vehicles. Remember £2 petrol money
4th Wednesday -meet at Nevis Range outside Ticket Office
5th Wednesdays -meet at Nevis Range outside Ticket Office
Last Wed each month -eat at Nevis Range pinemarten cafe after ride
All nights meet at 6.15 to leave at 6.30 sharp!
