Maintenance sessions at the bike kitchen

Four ladies took part in the first of, hopefully, a number of maintenance sessions for club members at the Bike Kitchen. Feedback from those taking part was really positive and Richard at the Bike kitchen was super impressed with everyone’s keenness. Many thanks to Richard from the Bike Kitchen and Emma from Lochaber Environmental Group for helping to set up this session. The Bike Kitchen will be organising a number of specific maintenance courses throughout the year and would encourage anyone keen to keep an eye out on the Lochaber Environmental Group Facebook page for more details.

opening weekend of the new blue doon 04/09/21

54 young riders from Kid’s club accompanied by 20 adult leaders and helpers were super excited to be the first riders up on the new Blue Doon run on Saturday. 14 adults were also similarly excited ( if slightly more apprehensive!) for the Adult social ride in the afternoon. Anyway, a great time was had by all and everyone was impressed with the amazing views and all the work that has clearl gone in to creating such a great trail. Many thanks to Nevis Range for all that they did for the club on Saturday

Hair raising event at kid’s club 19/06/21

Norman appeared at kid’s club on Saturday sporting a brand new hairstyle. Long gone were his flowing lockdown curls, having been replaced by an impressive multicoloured mohican. He even engineered a helmet that would allow it to poke through! Congratulations to Norman for raising £700 at the last count. Half of this money is going towards Pancreatic Cancer charity and half is going towards the Pump track. Rock on Norman!
